Times and Counts

Reminders

1. Only Enter Real Data Here: This is the real data entry form. Do not enter test data or out-of-sample training observations here.
2. Visit the Times & Counts page early and often: Counts of participants happen as both rolling totals and snapshots at key times (7 min prior, scheduled start, half scheduled, actual end, 7 min post). You may need to start counting before you code for convening basics and space characteristics.
3. Visit the Interactions & Interaction Styles page early and often: As you update demographic counts, new combinations of interactions may become available. Jump to the interactions page as soon as you see any interaction and return to it frequently.
4. Return to the Activities page with every change of activity: Each new activity gets a new row in the activities table—including times when changes happen. Jump to Activities as soon as an activity changes so you can get accurate times.
5. Refer to the Codebook: You should have a paper copy of the codebook in your gear bag. If you're not sure about a code, in a quiet moment, refer to the codebook for details.
6. Hand Out Cards: If participants ask you questions, give them a project business card and tell them to contact the professor for details.
